Current Mood: chipperchipper
i got this off of the naturalliving forum.
you can get a free reusable cotton pad if you add a link to the Gladrags website to your blog and then contact them (info@gladrags.com) with the link to your blog and your mailing address. there are no shipping charges.

apparently they sent this out in their newsletter and asked people to spread the word!
here is a link to the original post.

enjoy!!!!

I did the advertising thing :) I have made a few pads myself but have yet to try any of them out. Does the pad they send you look like the ones they sell? Lame question but since they are free, some companies send the worst ones kwim?

oh yes--i made a ton of cloth pads for myself last month when i was menustrating. the one i sent you is what all of mine look like, only with different fabrics and some don't have wings. i definitely love them so much better than disposables! they are more comfy and don't itch like the sides of disposables do to me. and they also don't bunch up, but stay where you put them. the absorbency is terrific, even better. i LOVE my cloth pads.
but no, i haven't gotten my gladrag yet. hopefully soon, i'd like to see what it looks like. i probably won't ever buy anymore pads, i like making my own, but i was just curious what theirs were like.
if you want, i could make a couple more for you, or just help you through the process of making your own.
but yeah, definitely try and get that free gladrag! don't want to miss out on that. :-)

ooh--i just made these neat little cloth square things.
i started to use witch hazel and tea tree oil on my face, and i ran into a problem--i didn't have any cotton balls! but then i thought, do i really want to go buy some, i'll just throw them away after ONE use! so i decided to make my own reusable cotton squares.
i took a washcloth and cut it into squares, by folding it in half and cutting it several times. i ended up with 16 i think. i am now doing a zig zag stitch on the outside of my squares so they don't fray as bad.
so now i can just use them and wash them. :-)
do you use any astringents or anything like that on your face? if so, i could make some little squares for you. ;-)

ya know, i dont use any...however i do like to scrub every now and then. I wonder if li e a rougher texture washcloth with a bigger size swuare (kinda like noxema pads) I wonder if they would work?

hey where you the one who said you dont like spongebob? I was thinking Junior is getting too big for his spongebob AIO by sumbuns I still use a cover on it though cuz it does get moist on the oustide-its trim though) anyhow, I could throw that one in as well if you wanted for say...9 extra dollars?

hehe..i agree! but i don't tell chris that. lol. it's more or less,"yes, dear, i promise not to buy ANYTHING while you are gone." yeeah right. lol.
but yes, $30 sounds perfect! i think that would be easier to remember than $21 anyway. lol. you are so nice. :-)

I got the email too! (link is on xanga) While I don't find them as pretty as my other pads, the GladRag and inserts I have are certainly functional.
